Join us for a Bounce Back to School ultimate Urban Air experience at the newly built Urban Air in the Heights on Tuesday, August 19 from 6 - 8PM. Urban Air is generously donating 20% of on-site proceeds to the Travis Foundation, plus your ticket purchase is a direct donation.
Urban Air will be open exclusively to Travis families for one night ONLY! This event is one of a kind, hosting new Travis Tiger Kindergartners through 5th graders! Each child in attendance must have purchased a ticket through the Travis Foundation (tickets purchased last spring are still valid).
Travis community, let’s love on our leaders! The amazing humans of Travis Elementary School will spend 1,440 hours pouring love, knowledge, encouragement, and more into our beautiful children this year. So let’s pour into them to kick-start their year!
We are looking to stock teachers’ restrooms, lounge, and classroom cabinets with:

-antibacterial all-purpose spray

-Ziploc bags (gallon & sandwich)
- dish soap & sponges
- plastic cutlery
- paper plates
- unsweetened flavored sparkling water
Purchase what you can, and kindly drop the items off at our Foundation table during Meet the Teacher.

We are looking for new Travis Foundation Board members! Join us for "Bites with the Board"- an open house evening to learn about future Foundation leadership opportunities. This casual come-and-go event will take place Monday, April 7th from 6-9 PM at 1102 E 7th Street. Light bites and drinks will be served.
"Bites with the Board" is designed for adults to engage in focused discussions about our Foundation opportunities. To help keep the conversation productive, we kindly ask that you not bring your little Tigers. Thank you for understanding!

As a group, the Board meets once per month to review grant applications and to provide strategic planning for fund raising and community building events. Individually, the members contribute by serving as officers and committee participants, as well as providing leadership and expertise based on their abilities, backgrounds, and current interests.
The Travis Foundation is now accepting applications for (5) two-year positions and (1) one-year position (we're looking at you rising 5th grade parents!). Interested? Complete an application now!

All Travis parents, teachers and staff are invited to join us for an evening of friends and fun.
We've changed things up a bit this year and are hosting the event at Stuttgarden Tavern to give you a max array of stellar food and beverage choices.
A portion of all purchases benefit the William B. Travis Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing enduring financial support for the continued growth of Travis Elementary as an innovative, distinctive and inclusive school environment that promotes student achievement and academic excellence.
NOTE: This event is adults only. It's our turn to celebrate!
